About Influenza

Influenza specializes in the creation of Web communication and marketing tools. With us, nothing is left to chance; we are in charge of all stages of production, from defining objectives through strategy and design to putting the finished product online. Since 2003, we have set up a panoply of interactive marketing strategies and put a number of various Web sites online. Jean-François Lavoie, President

Active in the world of marketing since 2003, Jean-François Lavoie is president and cofounder of Influenza marketing. Over the past few years, he has been involved in more than a hundred Web development mandates and in setting up numerous interactive and traditional marketing strategies. Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Hotel and Tourism Management from UQAM, he has been project leader and director for various organizations such as the Centre de villégiature Jouvence, the Conseil québécois des ressources humaines en tourisme, and Kéroul.

Guillaume Quimper, Vice-President–Web Development

A specialist in Web ergonomics and SEO, he is in charge of the technological side, coordinating the production team’s efforts and verifying the quality of results through all project stages. Before founding Influenza marketing, Guillaume Quimper worked on a number of Web design mandates as a freelancer. With a bachelor’s degree in Communication, he ensures that the team thinks up and develops Internet sites that combine design, intelligent programming, ergonomics, and flexibility.

François-G. Chevrier, Vice-President–Strategy and Advice

A part of Influenza since June 2008, François G. Chevrier was previously an analyst and public relations officer at the Réseau de veille en tourisme for the Transat Chair in Tourism of the School of Business Administration at UQAM. Since he started in the tourism industry in 1995, his work has been varied, including time spent with the teams of Forfaits Québec, Tourisme Montréal & Cie. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Tourism Management and Marketing from UQAM, and is also a lecturer, facilitator, and trainer.
